Last Wednesday we left for West Virginia for some time with family and friends. Thursday we went shopping, met dad for lunch, and took Cors and Aggie (my parents’ bulldog) to the park:
Friday we baked, cooked, chopped and in the evening, had a great time barbecuing with with some beautiful friends. The smore’s were lovely and afterward we decided to see Get Smart. We made it to the theater basically on time and laughed through much of the movie.
Saturday we hung out with my mom and dad while Cors ran all over the backyard. That night we met Andrew and Lauren for some delicious food at Lola’s in Charleston. We heard some great music and enjoyed the wind and rain.
Sunday we said goodbye to my parents and Joel, Courtney, Cors and I drove back to Illinois. Courtney is going to hang out with us this week and then we’ll see mom and dad again when they come to pick her up. Sometimes, West Virginia can surprise you and be so much fun.
