Thunderstorms in Chicago = no festival for us.
I just loaded my Polaroid camera (Jon found it at the thrift store and gave it me because he is nice) with film for the first time. Today we are driving up to Chicago to see Vampire Weekend and Jarvis Cocker at Pitchfork. (You can’t take professional cameras into the festival so Polaroid it is then.) I am excited to see them both and very excited to use my camera. Its going to be a long drive both ways, but it should be fun. We picked up the music issue of The Believer last night and that should keep us busy for a little while.
