What a crazy week! Last Saturday Joel and I had a really fun shopping trip to St. Louis. We went everywhere and and we found a bunch of outfits that look awesome on him. Sunday Micah and Stephanie came over to help with some house projects. Joel and Micah worked on the floors and Steph and I painted the wainscoting. After working for a while we stopped for lunch. (Joel made his super good chili!) The floor looks so good!

Monday was Joel’s birthday and the Heroes’ premier so we had a little birthday/Heroes party. I made the best pie ever. It was an apple and spies pie and I even did a lattice work crust. I was pretty proud of myself.
The rest of the week has been a blur of late nights working on classwork. I’m glad today is Friday. Saturday we’ll finish up the floors, but tonight we relax!

Oh man, you got new floors and they look great!!! i bet cors was freaking out, yeah?
yeah he totally is! he loves sliding around on them. we’ve gotten tons done.
i think the house (minus the kitchen) will be finished before christmas.
