Q. Could you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m Rosie Music. I’m a 27 year old illustrator from Mexico City, love and loneliness are my fav themes to work with.
Q. When did you first start making things?
When I was 7 years old I made my own ‘camera’ It was actually a drawing of some sort of an old camera with a lens and everything. It ‘took’ pictures which were drawings of my classmates, my mom and sister, etc. I really enjoyed drawing the world and people around me!

Q. Every item in your shop is so colorful and cute! What is your creative process?
I’m in LOVE with color. If I could have a career focused only on mixing, picking and experimenting with colors, that would be my dream job!
Q. What’s a normal day in your life like?
I wake up kinda late as I go to sleep usually at 3 or 4 in the morning, drawing or painting and/or watching movies and listening to my old LPs. I love to cook for my sister and me, and in the evening I prepare my Etsy orders and work in any projects I have. It’s late at night when everything is peaceful and I can start concentrating on new art pieces.

Q. What inspires you most of all?
Interesting creative people who elegantly change the world a little bit by believing in their ideals, crafting, making music or simply by being honest citizens.

wow such an inspiring shop.. i love all the illustrations but what i heart most about her is the different ways she applies them.. which is why my favorite piece is the “Too shy No.3 on Wood”. The soft watercolor against the textured wood makes it seem so surreal.. love it!

What a great shop! The t-shirts look comfy and the tote bags are adorable. I have to say that my favorite item is a toss up between the “Happy Together” print and the “Sunday Morning” Ltd. Edition Wood paper print.

I thank you for featuring her shop, I doubt I would have come across it on my own, since I hardly look for prints or bags when I search Etsy, but her drawing style is so cute. Very 1950′s idyllic! I love, love, LOVE the “Elegant Cat” ! He is so striking, especially on the black bag, the black background just makes him stand out.
