I fell in love with this gorgeous pattern from Brooklyn Tweed last Fall and this weekend I finally got around to knitting it up. This one is a birthday present for Joel’s sister, Grace. I hope she likes it!

This was my first time knitting a lace pattern and I was so surprised at how fun it is. I definitely need to do more of this kind of knitting in the future! This is the perfect weekend project for knitters and you can find the pattern over here.

Oh man, thank you for opening my eyes to Ravelry!! My ma is a fabulous knitter, and she’s going to teach me using some of the simpler patterns on there. I can’t WAIT!
