A few weeks ago I came across the prettiest Flickr stream. Shokoofeh captures life and colors so beautifully! And I’m so excited to share her lovely photos and a little interview with you!
Q. Could you tell us a little about yourself?
Okay. this is one of the hardest questions I always worry about! I am that kind of person who prefers to describe herself in images than words. But I will try my best! I am a girl who believes in life, and in beauty.I am twenty five and live in Tehran. Last year I finished my BFA at University of Art in Visual Communication. I love photography, graphic design and all sort of happy things!
Q. When did you begin taking such pretty photos?
Thanks for saying that they are pretty! I think my love for taking pictures showed up at university for the very first time. Analogue photography. Darkroom. Rolls of film…Those were all my favorite stuff then. I still enjoy shooting film more than anything in my professional life. But digital photography came to my life with a little compact camera. And about one year ago I bought a digital SLR which now is always with me everywhere I go.
Q. What’s a normal day in your life like?
A normal day in my life nowadays is about delicious breakfasts, happy talks with my boyfriend. Long walks with my mom. lots of photos. Lots of dreams. And lots of thoughts about future.
Q. What inspires you most of all?
Nature and light are my biggest inspirations; I think photography is all about light. But I also can’t deny the deep effect of blog world on my works, and my life.
