This might sound a little crazy, but I’ve been feverishly working on my cozy “stockpile”. Last winter I was knitting all during parties and family visits, trying to keep up with the avalanche of orders. It was nerve-wracking and I’d rather not do that again this year! So I’m thinking ahead (way ahead) and knitting now so I can relax later. And I’m dreaming of making pairs of these gorgeous mittens and socks for Christmas gifts. That might be just a bit too ambitious!

Oh so pretty! I am always knitting holiday presents. It’s just smart knitting! Then when the holidays roll around and you are wrapping presents instead of staying awake all hours of the night knitting them you will actually be able to enjoy the season instead of giving yourself seasonal carpal tunnel.
