Hello! My name is Kara. I have a blog called I Just Might Explode and I am so flattered that Jessica asked me to guest post for her oh-so-lovely blog. :)
I have lived in Boise, Idaho since I was 9 months old. There is much more this pretty valley beyond Napoleon Dynamite and potatoes(I’ve never actually seen a potato farm before). I’m heading off to Brooklyn, NY next year for school and don’t tell Brooklyn, but I think I might miss Idaho. A lot.
I had a hard time deciding where to take you and finally decided on this adventure. Simple, but that’s sort of the way I like it.
First. We’d head downtown and find a coffee shop. Thomas Hammer is a favorite of mine. It’s always full of business people on meetings, college students on laptops, and energy.

While sipping our drinks we’d head down Idaho St. and spend awhile at The Record Exchange. I looove the Record Exchange. For a city of growing hipsters and v-neck tee nausea, The Record Exchange is unpretentious and down to earth. The employees are always laid back about taking pictures in there and genuinely cool.

One of my favorite stores is, like most everyone’s, Anthropologie. It’s just so pretty.

Now, it’s time for some good thrifting. Lux Vintage and Savers are always great ones to hit up, but my personal favorite has always been the Goodwill by Wal-Mart. I’m a classy lady, I tell you.

To cap off the day, we’d head off to a Sonic Drive-Thru for limeades and mozzarella sticks.

I hope you enjoyed our adventure! :) Feel free to hit me up with a comment or email if you’re in the area and want to know more cool things to do.
