This morning I was typing away, composing little emails to answer little questions that were popping up in my work inbox, when my iPod decided to play the Paris Je’taime soundtrack. It’s been ages since I watched that movie!
I was instantly transported to a humid summer night with crickets chirping loudly, condensation on cold drink glasses, and chatty friends. We all quieted down to watch the movie. When it was over the talking started right back up again and everyone had a different favorite part that they wanted to relive. It was just a happy evening!

The film is a series of 18 five minute shorts. Each set in Paris and each with a different cast, director, story, and mood. Some are gorgeously romantic, others heartbreaking and some are just fantastical.
The overarching theme is simply love…
They made a similar movie called New York, I Love You, but in my opinion it just isn’t quite as good as Paris, Je’taime. Mostly because in New York, I Love You they tried to tie all the stories together and it seemed a little drawn out to me. If you haven’t seen Paris, Je’taime yet call up some friends, pop some pop corn, and enjoy!
