We’ve been watching the cheesy, early 2000s TV show Roswell. It’s about high schoolers and aliens… oh, I know! It’s totally far-fetched and 100% silly. Anyway, so much of the music and fashion and hairstyles in the series remind me of high school days so today’s Music Monday is a little mini celebration of the 90s.
The 90s, like all not-yet-forgotten decades, have been having a resurgence lately. I probably don’t need to tell you this (Urban Outfitters kindly sent me an email last week saying the the 90s are back. Thanks UO, I’m pretty sure they’ve been coming back for a season or two. Must weed out spam folder!)
It wouldn’t be a 90s resurgence without the flannel and I like the new, cleaner flannel looks that I keep seeing for fall. In fact I had to stop myself from buying not one but two flannel shirts over the weekend. If I’m not careful it’ll take over my closet!

Ohh love it! I’ve got 10 Things on VHS SOMEwhere around here. And I’m totally cool with flannel shirts coming back if they stay cute and fitted. In the 90s we wore them HUGE and baggy and silly. I’m glad they got a cute upgrade this time around!
