Since classes are starting at the university I work at it truly feels like Fall is just around the corner! It’s chilly enough in my office for lattes and hot chocolates year round, but I can’t wait for the weather to catch up and make my daily sweaters and long sleeves seem a little more appropriate.
My wardrobe could use a little sprucing up so I did a bit of window shopping this evening. Want to see what’s in my imaginary shop bag? Oh good, because I’m dying to show you! I like this pretty printed dress and scarf combination from Anthropologie
scarf, dress, and coin purse
I can never have too many cardigans. I’ve had this book for a few years now and I’ve decided that this is the fall that I finally make one of the beautiful cardigans in it!
I’ve been wanting to add some pretty vintage to my closet. I love these cute plaid skirts and bits and bobs:
yellow plaid skirt, cowboy boots, olive green traveling cases, and purple plaid skirt
Shopping for a winter coat is the hardest! I’m just no good at it, but I love this coat by Little Houses!
So those are some of the pretties that I’ve had my eye on lately.
Have the leaves started changing where you are?

Be sure to jump over to the Twinkle website and check mistakes in that book. I’ve had quite a few students try to knit sweaters from that book and come across major patter problems. Like entire sections of sweater left out and incorrect stitch patterns. Which breaks my heart because when you buy a book it should be right! Let me know if anything looks fishy. I’d for sure love to help!
Thanks Allyson! I actually don’t need to follow the pattern. I’m good at looking at something and knowing how to make it on my own. I mostly love this book for the photo!
I totally agree with you about errors. If you bought it should at least be right! I never trust written patterns. I prefer the adventure of making my own. :) Are you working on anything special for fall?
