The university that Joel and I work at gives us a day off for our birthdays! I’ve never had an employer that does that, so we decided to take a long weekend with Joel’s birthday off day and went to Milwaukee. It was so much fun and such a pretty, little city that I thought I’d share a few things from our trip today, pretty things-style!

but he traded me for the Nikon and took this photo of me. (I secretly really like it!)
Monday morning we had coffee at a lovely little place called Alterra. They have a bunch of locations, but we stopped by the 5th Ward Foundry. I love their cups!
I had a cran-orange pumpkin muffin that was so good I need to try to recreate a batch of them soon!
I love all the blues and greens in the city!
