I know we’ve been talking a lot about knitting this week. Maybe it’s the chillier weather that makes a lap full of wool so appealing or maybe it’s just because I’ve been spending my evenings with candles lit, yarn on needles and endless cups of hot chocolate.
Whatever the reason, each afternoon I find myself anxiously counting down the minutes ’til quitting time at the day job. So I can get along home and get back to knitting! I’ve ended up with tons of knitting inspiration bookmarks and I thought I’d share a few today. I hope you’ll get inspired, too!

I love shopping for yarn, talking about yarn, and thinking about yarn. I like yarn! And there is nothing more exciting than starting a new project with a brand new stockpile of beautiful fiber!

I’m excited about my two week Etsy shop vacation coming up in December. I’m going to finish up all the half-finished mittens I have laying around:
And hopefully make a fisherman’s sweater for Joel. Something like…

LOVE those man sweaters! I just knit a sweater for my boyfriend that has a similar look to these that you might be interested in: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dawson
It was a fun knit and the stitch pattern turned out glorious.
For the record – totally cool with all the knitting there has been around here! :)
Hi Allyson! Thanks for the pattern tip! I love the neckline on that sweater!
Pretties! Lots of pretties.
That anthropologie sweater is neat, I’m not a turtleneck fan but I love the little detail at the bottom.
And good luck with all the mittens and Joel’s sweater!
thanks! I’ll post photos once it’s done for sure!
