pretty things

This time next week I will be in a car heading south with my boy and pup! I am so ready and excited for Christmas this year. Unlike most years, my shopping was done super early and that’s meant time to wrap presents and tie bows without being rushed, time to decorate a wreath, drink hot chocolate and watch the snow, and wait for my Christmas break to start!

Here are some pretty things that are catching my eye while I wait for next week to hurry up and get here!

I am in love with these custom Christmas cards from Paper Rifle Co.:

I wish I had found these sooner. Maybe next year!

The colors and textures in this photo are so beautiful and what a gorgeous wreath!

I think my sister and I have to try this out over Christmas!

You’ve probably seen what a brilliant job the British shop, TOAST, does telling stories with their beautiful wares. Their catalogs feel like storybooks! This year they’ve created a special storytelling treat for the holidays!

Over four weeks this holiday season they are sharing two Russian Folk Tales that were translated by Post Wheeler in 1911. One installment per week is uploaded to the TOAST Travels blog. The second installment of Tsar Saltan (the first story) just became available today. I can’t wait to get home and cozy and listen to it!

The first installment was so lovely and well read and you could hear the crackle of the fire in the background. It makes for magical listening!

What are you loving these days?
