Last night we had a steady drenching rain. It was perfect for lighting candles, drinking coffee and reading books. I love rainy, gloomy days best of all and this one felt perfect. It made me start thinking even more of fall and how excited I am for it to get here.
I organized my stationary stash last night and this Paper Rifle Co. card caught my eye. I think it looks pretty and autumnal. It didn’t mind getting out of the drawer where I hide it for a mini photo shoot.
Is it just me, or is there a pine cone in this print? I think I see one.
Cors tricked me into taking him out in the rain, but it was actually kind of lovely walking around in the misty rainy evening. It felt very Wuthering Heights, minus the ghosts and moors. We saw two brown rabbits keeping dry and cozy under the hedge. The rain didn’t bother Cors. Doesn’t he look pleased with himself?
After drying off, we (by “we” I mean J0el) made a yummy pasta with a creamy, cheesy sauce and plenty of mushrooms. So good!
On a serious note (if I may), I’m very sad about the riots going on in the UK. But it has cheered my heart to see all the well-behaved citizens getting out and cleaning up their city. I hope things settle down soon. Stay safe UK friends!
