I have a pretty little necklace collection and for months I’ve been bookmarking ideas for how to display them. I’ve added jewelry trees and decorative hooks to online shopping carts only to leave them unpurchased. I couldn’t find anything I was happy with. So I finally just put a few nails in the wall above my desk and I’m pretty happy with the results.
L to R: White Owl, Lara Lewis Estate Jewel, trinket necklace & Vintage Locket
Most of my necklaces are handmade and all were gifts. It’s so nice to have them out where I can see them. And I’m thinking that seeing them everyday might help me to switch up my necklace choices more often than I do right now.
The White Owl necklace was the trickiest. When I had it hanging from one nail, the lace folded up and you couldn’t see how pretty it is. I draped it across two nails at different heights and that did the trick.
Now I just need to find an organization/display system for my earrings that keeps them from getting all tangled together. I’d love to hear your tips for storing or displaying jewelry!

All of my necklaces are shoved into one of those plastic storage containers. This looks MUCH nicer. :)
Great idea, Jessica! It looks so pretty. You’re right, the lace definitely need two nails to really show it off though :)
