Sorry for all the quite around here! I had a wonderful long weekend full of birthday celebrations and adventures.
One of the adventures involved going to see Laura Marling and my goodness can that lady sing! Joel wrote a great review so I’ll just send you over here for the details. All I will say is that she is brilliant and if you ever get a chance to see her take it!

Alessi’s Ark was the charming opening act. Alessi seemed so nervous but everyone was rooting for her and songs were dreaming pretty, cotton candy things.
