I always connect certain albums and artists with particular months and seasons. With the weather shifting to Fall, I’ve been pulling out a lot of my autumn favorites and it got me wondering, “What do other folks listen to in the fall?”
Three lovely bloggers will be answering that question on Music Monday over the next few weeks. First up is Erin from Atlantic Treefox. Thank you for getting things started, Erin!
Jessica was kind enough to invite me here to share some of my favourite music for Autumn. When I think of Autumn I can’t help but picture those crisp apartment days just before the heat turns on or sitting in my studio working away as the leaves change outside. I also get a little nostalgic for 2007 in particular. I tend to listen to music that I listened to around that time. Here are my top five favourite albums in no particular order.
1. The Whitest Boy Alive – Dreams
2. Shoot the Moon – Where Strangers Live EP
4. Rings – Black Habit
5. Boards of Canada – The Campfire Headphase
Erin has a beautiful collection of prints in her shop, Atlantic Treefox.
