If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you might have picked up on how much I like lists. Lists, goals, making plans I love them all! So when I saw this post by Jena (that smart lady over at Miss Modish) about the 12 by 2012 project I was instantly hooked.
It’s a pretty simple idea, write down 12 things you want to accomplish by 2012 and then hop to it!
Here’s my list along with a few comments for myself:
1. Pick out a fun hair color for fall. (See photo above for inspiration.)
2.Participate in NaNoWriMo. (You don’t have to finish if you’re too busy.)
3. Organize that overflowing yarn stash.
4. Take a new profile photo. (It’s SO time for an update!)
5. Read The Night Circus.
6. Make and send Christmas cards.
7. Invest in tights, because winter is coming!
8. Send a care package to a friend.
9. Make a pencil skirt and wear it.
10. Find a proper place for my sewing things. (Seriously, there are patterns and muslin scraps everywhere!)
11. Finally take those bags of clothes to the thrift store.
12. Learn how to fix my hair in a 1950s updo. (Maybe something like this.)
