This weekend was a mash-up of frantically finishing up projects and finals, decking the halls, a sushi date, a sink overflowing with used coffee cups, carpet cleaning chaos, and a Christmas tree. Our very first real-live Christmas tree. I love it!
We bought it off of a pair of adorable Boy Scouts and brought it home tied to the roof of the little Fiat. It fit just barely.
Decorating was a welcome break from schoolwork!
We put garlands and lights on our banisters and they wonderful bit of magic at night:
Cors investigated the boxes and mysterious new tree while I wrapped and packed up all the presents that are going to be mailed to West Virginia and Portland. I think we’re ready for Christmas and we’re certainly ready for Christmas break!
