I think most of us can’t imagine what the folks in New York, New Jersey, and other parts of New England are going through right now. I was glued to my phone and computer all during the storm checking in on my friends in that area of the country. Thankfully, they are all safe and warm but so many of their near neighbors lost everything. I wanted to do something to help. It’s easy to donate money, but I wanted to do something with my hands.
Two crafty ladies from New York came up with the perfect way to help called Make it Better. Basically, make something warm and cozy and send it off to be donated to those in need. I made a woolen circular scarf:


I hope it and the little note I sent will encourage and warm whoever it reaches.
