We keep getting snow and more snow and it’s so pretty and our home is so cozy I don’t even mind.  But I am ready for some spring colors so here are some pretty spring projects for the weekend!

I saw these Votive Vases on Project Wedding. Aren’t they pretty? I think they’d make a sweet little gift for a friend or add a happy splash of color to my office.

When I was little, my dad would leave a little treat for my sister and me at the breakfast table every Valentine’s Day morning. We were always so excited to see what was waiting for us!

What a productive weekend!  I finished up a batch of slouchy hats and cozies for City Bird.  City Bird is this wonderful shop in Detroit that I would LOVE to visit some day.  It looks so lovely!

I fell in love with this gorgeous pattern from Brooklyn Tweed last Fall and this weekend I finally got around to knitting it up.  This one is a birthday present for Joel’s sister, Grace.  I hope she likes it!

This was my first time knitting a lace pattern and I was so surprised at how fun it is. I definitely need to do more of this kind of knitting in the future!  This is the perfect weekend project for knitters and you can find the pattern over here.

I got so much done this weekend!   The planning phase for my shop’s fall line is officially done. Yay! I’m so excited about it!  And we had some fun too: I made a few more pages for my art journal, got to see the new Harry Potter (this is what Joel thought of it), stocked up on yarn, went for walks with Cors and Joel, and snacked on lots of cookies and milk.  How was your weekend?
