pretty photos

A few months ago I read Shokoofeh’s post about her film photography collaboration project with Julie Broberg and I couldn’t wait to see what they created! All of Shokoofeh’s photos are so thoughtfully framed and the lighting is so lovely; I could look at them for ages !

Today they posted some of the photos from the project, Film Swap.  The Film Swap collaboration took about six months with Julie (in Denmark) using the roll of film first and then sending it to Shokoofeh in Iran. The results of their double exposures are just breathtaking!

“The result is magically beautiful, in my opinion. It feels wonderful when you see the images of two very different places on one frame. And the inadvertent potential, is just the way I wanted it.” – Shokoofeh.

You can visit Shokoofeh at her blog and flickr. Say, “hello” and learn a little more about the project over on Julie’s blog. Nice work ladies!
