Franklin BBQ
The President was in town and because of secret service roadblocks it was hard for people to get over to the East Side. This meant that the famous Franklin line didn’t really get going until later in the day. The Brits did get to enjoy some early morning queuing for BBQ, we made pals with a pup named Tiberius, and as always the brisket was well worth the wait!

Tillery St. Plant Co. & East Side Succulents
A fun place to see lots of different kinds of cacti and Texas-y plants. They have the Confederate Jasmine I’ve been hunting for. I can’t wait to pick up my jasmine plants!

We also went to a gun range this day. When Brits request guns, Texans are happy to oblige.
