a lux wishlist
This morning, I made a big ticket wishlist while anxiously awaiting the beginning of today’s World Cup matches. No reason really, just for fun.
october wishery
My favorite month is here! As a kid, October was always a month of anticipation for me. The leaves started to change, pumpkins would appear, and that meant we were that much closer to my birthday and to halloween. Both are at the end of the month. I probably enjoyed the excitement of the anticipation most of all.
Texas Octobers are much different from any others I’ve experienced. They feel like extensions of summer, but every October I still reread Pride & Prejudice and make a few birthday wishes. This year my wishes might look a little like…

wednesday loves
Happy Wednesday! I’m just popping in to share some things I’m loving today, enjoy!
I haven’t made a wishlist in a while and when I noticed a lot of things that looked pretty together hanging out in my Etsy favorites I thought it would be fun to put one together. Here’s what I’ve been window shopping lately:
Boom Boom Pow Nail Polish, Embellished Silk Blouse, Chalkboard Tablet, Make Haste Luggage Tag, and Vintage File Box

Here’s a little midweek pick-me-up mixed tape for you! Just push play and have a little dance party in your office or around your house. Music makes everyday better!
And here’s my mini wishlist for the day

All I Want for Christmas is…
Hi there!
Before I begin my post I thought I would start with a wee introduction. My name is Amanda and I blog over at Here Comes the Sun. I’m from New Zealand which means my Christmas is all about sunshine, barbecues and the beach and I’m here to share a few of the goodies I’d like to see in my stocking this December.
1. Tegan and Sarah’s new album Sainthood
2. This cute little owl from etsy
3. The new book from Audrey Niffenegger, Her Fearful Symmetry. (The Time Traveler’s Wife is an all time favourite)
4. Deer purse from Emedemarta
5. Bambi pendant, also from Emedemarta
6. Polaroid film…. a girl can dream! It’s so expensive to get a hold of but I sure would love to wipe the dust off my polaroid camera and use it again!
